We have been woodworking for generations, so our chairs and rockers are made with all the details that go into the finest furniture.

Details like our specialty back rib on the 304/305 chairs, steam bent spindles for comfort, wedged pillars and arm posts for strength and longevity, right down to the floor where each leg is cut level to the floor.

Quality goes into every component, not just your logo.

Recognition Features

M. H. Parks Company
Established in 1827

CONSTRUCTION:
  • All of our recognition chairs are made of North American Hardwood.  We use primarily Birch and Maple.
  • We use compressed tenons on all our turnings which creates greater strength.
  • All our pillars and arm posts are bored through the seat, then wedged in place.  This time honored assembly technique is not always used on recognition chairs because of the need to assemble the chair after the two tone finish is done.  We created a special way of assembling the chair first... the RIGHT WAY... then install the crown and arms.
  • We use high quality lacquer on all the chairs.
  • All chairs are leveled on all four legs allowing the chair to sit flat on the floor.

SPECIALTY FEATURES:

  • Look at the back rib on the 304/305 chair.  You will not find that type of detail in too many places.  The crown and rib are machined seperately.  The rib is then machined and sanded on the bottom, hand glued to a crown, then finish machined.  This requires special equipment, and great attention to detail.  This is not an easy crown to make, however, the finished product speaks for itself!   All chairs are gold striped by hand.

ARTWORK/LOGO:

  • Our standard silk screen application is gold on a black crown.  We also do multi color screen applications.  This requires a screen for each color, and is done at additional charge, but if you have a multi-color logo you do not have to compromise.
