7 Generation woodworkers
All Products Manufactured in U.S.A.
M. H. Parks company has been woodworking for seven
generations... yes, seven generations. Established in 1827 by
Martin Harrison Parks, the company made barrel covers and later
spools and bobbins for the textile industry. As the plastic
industry took over the spool and bobbin business, we converted to
making turnings for the local chair businesses in the Gardner,
Massachusetts area. This progressed into making the complete
chair. We now make a full line of residential furniture and
continue to make chairs for other case good manufacturers.
We produce all our parts in our Winchendon, Massachusetts factory. Our experience in making chairs makes us the perfect company to produce Recognition Chairs. Everything starts with a solid foundation, therefore we start with the chair, not the logo. We take the utmost of care with your logo, personalization, and details, but they must be put on a chair that will last. We aim to produce chairs that last a good long time, and with seven generations of experience we have an idea of how to do that.
